Privacy Policy: This website generally does not use any analysis tools, cookies, etc. When visiting our website, your IP address, the start and end of the session may be recorded for the duration of the session. This is technically necessary and constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR. Unless otherwise specified below, these data will not be further processed by us.

1.) Personal Data: Notwithstanding the above, we collect, process, and use your personal data only with your consent, mandate, or order for the purposes agreed with you or when another legal basis in accordance with the GDPR exists; this is done in compliance with data protection and civil law regulations. Only such personal data is collected that is necessary for the performance and processing of legal services or which you have voluntarily provided. Personal data includes any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, such as name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number, photos. Sensitive data, such as health data or data in connection with criminal proceedings, may also be included.

2.) Right to Information and Deletion: As a client (data subject), you have the right to request information about your stored personal data, its origin, recipients, the purpose of processing, and the right to correction, data transfer, objection, restriction of processing, as well as blocking or deletion of inaccurate or unlawfully processed data, at any time, subject to the lawyer’s confidentiality obligation. In case of changes to your personal data, please notify us accordingly. You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for the use of your personal data at any time. Your request for information, deletion, correction, objection, and/or data transfer (in the latter case, if this does not cause disproportionate effort) can be sent to the address of the law firm. If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in another way, you have the possibility to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority. In Austria, the Data Protection Authority is responsible for this.

3. Data Security: The protection of your personal data is ensured through appropriate organizational and technical measures. These measures specifically protect against unauthorized, unlawful, or accidental access, processing, loss, use, and manipulation. Despite efforts to maintain a consistently high level of care, it cannot be ruled out that information you provide over the internet may be viewed and used by others. Please note that no liability is assumed for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by the law firm and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g., hacking of email accounts or phones, interception of faxes).

4. Use of Data: The data provided will not be processed for purposes other than those covered by the mandate agreement, your consent, or any other provision in accordance with the GDPR.

5. Transfer of Data to Third Parties: To fulfill your assignment, it may be necessary to forward your data to third parties (e.g., the opposing party, substitutes, insurance companies, service providers, etc.), courts, or authorities. Your data will only be forwarded based on the GDPR, specifically to fulfill your assignment or with your prior consent.

6. Notification of Data Breaches: We strive to ensure that data breaches are detected early and, if necessary, promptly reported to you or the relevant supervisory authority, including the respective data categories involved.

7. Data Retention: We will not retain data longer than necessary to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations and to defend against any potential liability claims.
